IMPLANT SUPPORTED DENTURES
Implant supported dentures are marketed using different names (e.g. – Teeth In A Day, Teeth Tomorrow, All On 4, Implant Dentures, Clear Choice, and more). This treatment serves as an excellent solution for several clinical conditions:
- No teeth
- Uncomfortable or ill-fitting dentures
- Badly broken down teeth
- Severe gum disease
However, here are some of the real-life conditions that people are dealing with every day:
- Avoiding having your photo taken
- Uncomfortable smiling in family photos because of appearance of smile
- Lowered desire to participate in social settings because of appearance of teeth
- Difficulty chewing (leading to digestion issues)
- Unable to enjoy favorite foods
Often these individuals are battling with these emotions silently. Friends and family may not even know that their loved one is having these everyday challenges.
The beauty of implant dentures is that this treatment can help solve even the most severe cases. Implant dentures offer a solution that – almost overnight – will reconstruct a person’s entire mouth, teeth, and smile. When completed, patients leave the same day with a temporary implant denture (see our Same Day After Photos below) that will allow them to smile beautifully and chew food again – talk about life changing! Also, this treatment is arguably life-lengthening, as poor dental or gum health is now known to cause serious overall health problems.
Treatment consists of a whole arch of teeth supported by dental implants. For most patients, they can have a whole new set of healthy gorgeous teeth delivered in one day. These initial temporary teeth look good and feel good and are made to last while the implants settle into the jaws, and while everything heals. After about 6 months, the temporary teeth are replaced with stronger, longer-lasting teeth that look great, function well, and last a long time. These teeth allow patients to eat all kinds of foods. When considering the financial investment, it’s important to understand and weigh the difference between fixing a whole mouth of badly broken down teeth versus a more instant fix like Teeth in One Day. To treat a whole mouth of teeth often requires a much larger investment compared to Teeth in One Day. Over time, these individual tooth-restorations usually require maintenance, repair and replacement (e.g. – when decay or periodontal disease recurs). So restoring the whole mouth with crowns and/or bridges can be more costly up front and as time goes on.
Implants and implant dentures cannot get cavities, and once fully settled and integrated, a patient rarely gets periodontal disease. The maintenance involved (routine hygiene visits, proper home care) is relatively inexpensive. The comfort, the security and convenience of never being without teeth again may be priceless for some.
After a consultation with Intown Smile Studio and our implant specialist, you will have a customized treatment plan that will guide you through your personal journey of achieving your new teeth and new smile. Treatment can be finalized as quickly as 6 months or as soon as the supporting implants are stable. The procedure is usually quite easy and surprisingly comfortable for patients. If you or someone you love has had a history of “teeth issues,” implant supported dentures could be a truly life-changing and life-lengthening solution.
