Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Kala Green studied both Human Nutrition and Biology in her undergrad before earning her DMD from the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
As dentistry is an ever-changing field, her education did not end there. She recently completed the MaxiCourse at The Dental College of Georgia in Augusta; requiring over 300 hours of expanded training and passed the written exam for placing and restoring dental implants. Dr. Green feels it is critical to participate in a variety of continued education topics as being well versed on new procedures allows her to provide the best service possible to her patients.
Dr. Green specializes in the restorative aspects of dentistry, including: composite restorations, inlays, onlays, crowns, placing and restoring implants. She also has extensive training and experience in root canal therapy.
With a background in both nutrition and dentistry, Dr. Green likes to highlight the importance of the mouth’s role in whole body health. Whether the dentist office is your favorite or least favorite place to be, Dr. Green enjoys working with all patients to reach a state of good oral health and keeping them there.
“I respect that every single patient chose to trust me with their smile and I take that very seriously.”
