We cannot permanently reverse aging but dermal fillers is one of several effective methods used to help restore the change in balance from aging. Dermal fillers are used to diminish lines, restore volume, and create subtle lifting effects.
Temple Hollows
Temple Hollows form as we lose elasticity and fat around the brow and temple area. We can restore fullness to the area by placing filler in the hollow.
Eyebrow Lift
Eyebrow Lift with fillers, may be done in conjunction with Neurotoxins or separately. The toxins help the brow to relax and ease the muscle pull. Dermal fillers are used above the brow bone to fill and lift the brow. While toxin may last approximately 3 months, the dermal filler can last 6-9 months. How long a product lasts will depend on the individual’s lifestyle, diet and metabolism. It is not one size fits all when it comes to longevity.
Smoker’s Wrinkles
Smoker’s Wrinkles or lipstick lines can be temporarily erased with dermal fillers and neurotoxins. The fillers can be used to add back volume in the upper lip diminishing those fine lines.
Lip Flip
Lip Flip is done to create a natural curve and lift for the upper and lower lip lines. This can be done with neurotoxins and/or by adding fillers around the lip line. At the same time, it helps reduce some of the fine vertical lines as well.
Cheek Volume & Lift
Cheek volume and lift diminishes over time and that plump area around our cheeks begins to look flat. That natural volume that was once there is our cheek fat pad. Over time it slides further down. When that volume is lost, fine lines develop and the nasolabial folds form at the bottom of the cheek. By adding back volume and building up the cheeks, we can create a lifting, youthful appearance. Your provider may recommend a combination of treatments to achieve best results.
Under Eye Circles
Under Eye Circles form between the lower eyelid and the top of the cheek bone. Natural aging occurs as the eye socket and upper cheek bone shrinks. The natural thin layer of fat in that area gradually diminishes over time. The ligaments and muscles of the lower lid slowly lose elasticity and no longer remain as strong. These changes cause the tear trough depression to become puffy. The thinner area of skin reflects the blood underneath and dark shadows develop. The puffiness and dark circles create an always “tired” appearance. Fillers can be used to add back lost volume which in turn diminishes the under eye shadows. By adding volume, it can eliminate shadows, reduce fine lines and create a refreshed, rested look to the eyes.
Fuller Lips
Fuller Lips can be achieved with dermal fillers. With fillers you will see immediate results and individuals will respond differently. Our goal is to add volume to create a natural beauty and shape to the lips. We typically recommend to allow time for any swelling to subside rather than allowing for overfilling .
