Dr. Trent Collett started his dental education at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. Following graduation, Dr. Collett was selected to continue his training in the General Practice Residency at the Dental College of Georgia. In his two years of Residency, he trained extensively in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and a variety of surgical procedures including dental implants, IV sedation, removal of wisdom teeth.
Dr. Collett is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and an active member in the Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support. Dr. Collett maintains a faculty appointment at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. Dr. Collett is actively involved in the Spear Study Club, where he works with colleagues to discuss complex treatment and stay up to date on the latest dental research.
Dr. Collett attended the University of Georgia, where he graduated from the Honors Program and double majored in Biology and Psychology. He grew up in the Atlanta area and graduated from Wesleyan School.
Dr. Collett’s goal is to provide a warm, caring, and personalized experience for every patient. Dr. Collett’s wife, Amara, is also a dentist in Atlanta. On the weekend, they enjoy walks with their dog Kirby, attending Georgia football games, and spending time with friends and family.
