10 Porcelain Veneers
This patient came to us to address the teeth on her upper arch. There were several concerns about her smile that she wished could be changed. She didn’t like the the dark and light spots on her teeth. Nor did she like that her front teeth were slightly flared which made her teeth appear even shorter than they were.
Porcelain Veneers to Eliminate Tooth Discoloration
Some tooth discoloration can be reduced with regular dental checkups and a dental whitening treatment. Some discoloration needs a more significant treatment, like porcelain to block out the discoloration. And, that’s exactly what we did for this patient. You can see a huge difference between her natural tooth discoloration in the before photos compared to the Temps Before Porcelain Veneers photo.
Once we prepped her teeth for the veneers, we added temporaries that mimic her new smile. The Temps allowed her to test drive the new smile. We saw the patient a week after the Temps were placed to make sure everything was a comfortable fit and to ensure the patient liked the color and shape before the porcelain was finalized.
By adding the veneers to hide the permanent discoloration, we were also able to correct the flare and add some length to her front teeth. In the Smile After Porcelain Veneers photos you can see a dramatic difference in the side and front view. Her teeth really fit her smile line now. The discoloration and flare are gone.
This patient loved her new smile. She later came back and we added porcelain veneers to her lower arch.
