is3 Porcelain Veneers and 1 Porcelain Crown
- Before
- After
Our patient is in the public eye a lot, and was tired of smiling with his lips closed.
His front tooth was injured years ago and luckily his tooth was saved. He was treated for a root canal and eventually the tooth turned dark from the trauma. A dentist added bonding to help mask the dark color of his natural tooth. Unfortunately, bonding stains and darkens over time and doesn’t look natural.
Dark Tooth Treatment
He wanted whiter teeth and for the four front teeth to be more symmetrical. We contoured the gum above his four front teeth to even up his gum line and we added 3 porcelain veneers. We removed the old bonding from his front tooth and added a porcelain crown. By adding the porcelain crown, we blocked out the dark tooth underneath and he wouldn’t have to worry about the porcelain staining like the bonding.
After whitening and adding 4 porcelain restorations, we matched the porcelain to his natural teeth color. Now he smiles really big for the papparazzi!
