Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers in Atlanta, GA
Skin changes are a natural part of aging. Lifestyle and genetics play a role along with age. Our skin naturally loses collagen and hydration. Lines develop. Skin texture worsens. We notice deeper circles around our eyes. Our high, youthful cheekbones seem to have disappeared.
Facial Filler Treatment Areas
Most people think of lips when they think of fillers. But, fillers are so much more than that! Because applications of filler can be subtle, many people don’t realize fillers are used to a number of areas:
- Parentheses lines around nose and mouth
- Marionette lines at the corners of the mouth
- Cheekbones to restore volume
- Eyebrow area to lift brow
- Jaw line to reduce jowls
- Lips to restore lost volume
- Lips to augment and make lips fuller than nature provided
- Chin area to augment a soft chin
Whether you’re male or female, young or old, dermal fillers can be used to enhance your appearance. Whatever your reason, age or generation, dermal fillers restore volume that is lost over time or enhance what you already have.

Lift, Smooth, Fill, Soften, & Plump With Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers have been used for years to add volume. Most older dermal fillers were collagen based. Today, most fillers contain hyaluronic acid which not only fill in areas and add volume, they also help to hydrate the skin. There are many hyaluronic products on the market for topical use. They are great at aiding hydration on the skin’s surface but they can’t add volume like fillers. By adding fillers to an area, it results in a lifting or smoothing and plumping affect for that area. Juvederm®, Restalyn®, Belotoro® or Radiesse® are some of the more prominent fillers on the market and Dr. Estep will help you decide which is best for you. Treatments can last anywhere from 3-6 months and some fillers last up to two years. It can vary by product and by the individual.
