Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain Veneers in Atlanta, GA
If you’re interested in improving your smile, porcelain veneers are one of the most popular treatments of choice. Porcelain veneers provide a solution to a wide array of smile problems including teeth that are chipped, discolored, crooked, broken, cracked, and too small, just to name a few. Similar to a cabinet veneer or laminate, a porcelain veneer is a very thin shell of porcelain that bonds to the front of your tooth. The porcelain covers up your tooth and is ideal in shape and color. Placing porcelain veneers on the teeth visible when your smile can transform your overall smile. There are some important things you should consider for your smile makeover.
Are Porcelain Veneers Right for You?
First, recognize that it is an investment; porcelain veneers are not cheap. If you make your decision about veneers based upon price, you may find yourself disappointed with the end result. There are some things in life where a cheaper solution will work, but veneers are not one of them.
Second, being a dentist doesn’t make him or her a skilled, experienced cosmetic dentist. If you were to go to a less experienced dentist, you may find that a veneer popped off and see what the dentist did to your original tooth structure. That’s not what you want for your teeth or smile, and we will never tarnish your tooth in such a way.
Dr. Susan Estep is very skilled with porcelain veneers and practices minimally invasive dentistry to conserve the original tooth structure.
