Invisalign and 10 Porcelain Veneers

Even though this patient didn’t like his smile, he didn’t think it mattered.  Years ago he had veneers placed on 2 front teeth, and that improved things slightly, but he still didn’t really like his smile.

When Dr. Estep asked him how he felt about his smile, this patient was interested in hearing the options that could improve his smile.  Dr. Estep recommended we first straighten the patient’s teeth using Invisalign.  By straightening the teeth, that allowed us to use a very minimal prep approach to making veneers for his upper teeth.

As soon as we placed the temporaries on his teeth, this patient could see a major improvement in his smile.  And, after the porcelain veneers were in place, they looked great.

This patient was pleasantly surprised that the veneers felt and looked like his natural teeth.  He couldn’t feel the porcelain veeners at all.

Now, he likes his smile and people comment on what a nice smile he has.  The veneers look so natural that no one asks him “what did you have done to your teeth?”  They assume this was the smile he was born with and that he has a really nice smile.
