9 Porcelain Veneers
Tooth Discoloration and Small Teeth
This patient was unhappy with the color and size of her teeth. In the before photo, you can see varying shades of gray, yellow and white. You can also see that her two front teeth appear to be longer than her other teeth. Or, her other teeth appeared to be smaller, depending upon how you look at it. That are many reasons why your teeth will be discolored, like genetics, medications or aging to name just a few. Once we decided on a game plan, the patient was ready to get started.
Treatment for Tooth Discoloration
Our goal was to even out the shape and color for this patient. We worked closely with the patient and our master ceramist to create the aesthetics of porcelain veneers. We added 10 No-Prep Veneers, which meant we did not have to shave down her natural tooth. With the veneers we were really able to whiten and shape the teeth the way she wanted. We contoured the gum around the top of the teeth to give her a more even appearance at the gum line.
