The Difference Between Botox and Dermal Fillers
Botox is used to smooth lines on the face, while dermal fillers are used to fill out deep creases and/or hollow areas in the face. Botox paralyzes (or partially paralyzes) the muscles that create the lines/wrinkles in the face (lines between eyebrows, forehead lines, crows feet, etc), and fillers plump up areas of the face (lips, under eyes, fold next to the nose, etc).
