For the third time in the last few years, I am honored and humbled by having nationally circulated New Beauty Magazine select one of my smile makeovers to be featured as an “amazing transformation.” New Beauty Magazine has a sophisticated editorial board made up of experts in several fields of beauty and medicine (including plastic surgery and cosmetic dentistry). These experts review thousands of entries from around the world and select the few they think are the best.
As you can see from the published photos, patient Carolyn, a naturally beautiful woman, had worn down and aged teeth that were detracting from her beauty in a significant way. She and I decided on a full smile makeover, including porcelain veneers and porcelain inlays and crowns to open up her bite. The results were just amazing, even life-changing. She looks ten years younger and her smile just screams confidence and beauty.
I love Carolyn’s story. She is like so many moms I see who are laser focused on taking care of their families. When Carolyn’s two sons were young, her husband was diagnosed with cancer. She took care of him until he died, still keeping her focus on her two sons. Years later, she found another love of her life and married him. He was soon diagnosed with ALS, and she took care of him through his struggle. I met her years after he died, and she was still focused on giving her all to her boys. Her teeth had taken a beating through the stresses she endured. She never complained, though. Her sister reached out to me, wanting to help Carolyn get her teeth and smile healthy again. When I met Carolyn, she told me that she always wanted her sister’s smile. She felt like she had a horrible bite her whole life — and she hated the appearance of her teeth and smile caused by wear and tear over the years. I was excited to be able to help. I was able to construct a new bite for Carolyn while repairing her damaged broken and chipped teeth. This video shows the moment Carolyn saw her smile for the first time (this was only her temporaries, however I always try to design temporaries to look like the full smile-makeover results). She’s with her sister when she looks in the mirror…well, I think the video says it all.
I could not be more pleased with Carolyn’s result. We have done the same thing for many, many patients. We would love to consult with you to see what sort of improvements we can make for you and your loved ones.
